Oil and Gas Deliver Billions to New Mexico Despite Pandemic and Radical Environmentalists
Once again, New Mexico’s energy workers have done something radical environmentalists never will: deliver massive revenue to New Mexico.
According to a new report, oil and gas contributed $2.8 billion to New Mexico’s state budget for fiscal year 2020. This marks the second-highest amount ever despite a pandemic riddled year and continued attacks from the eco-left.
However, with Joe Biden’s promise to destroy energy jobs, his selection of Deb Haaland for Interior Secretary and the continued push for strangling regulations from the eco-left, there’s no doubt New Mexico’s energy workers will face an uphill battle in 2021.
