A Thanksgiving Thank-You to America’s Energy Workers
This Thanksgiving, as families gather around warm homes and full tables, we want to pause and thank the men and women who make it all possible: America’s energy workers.
From the roughnecks on the rigs to the miners underground, from the line workers braving bitter cold to the truck drivers moving the fuel that powers our lives, these workers keep our country running. They don’t get holidays off. They don’t get weather days. Their jobs don’t pause just because the rest of America sits down to carve a turkey.
And yet, year after year, they show up.
This year, especially, Americans are feeling the benefits of their hard work. With gas prices dropping and production reaching new highs, families are experiencing welcome relief. Thanksgiving dinner prices are lower, travel costs are more affordable, all because America is once again harnessing the energy we have here at home.
