Even the Media Admits It: Climate Policies Raise Costs

Even the mainstream media is now saying the quiet part out loud: climate policies come with real costs and working Americans are the ones paying the price.

A new report details how Democratic governors across the country are scrambling to roll back or water down their own climate agendas because of one unavoidable reality: rising energy bills. These supposedly weren’t meant to hurt families, but now even the politicians who championed them are admitting they’ve become “politically and financially untenable.”

Where was this honesty a few years ago?

Back then, Americans were told that aggressive climate mandates, subsidies, and regulations would magically lower costs and create jobs. That forcing a rapid transition away from reliable energy would somehow make life more affordable.

It didn’t.

Now, with utility bills soaring and voters pushing back, the same leaders are reversing course by cutting programs, delaying mandates, and trying to shield ratepayers from the very policies they once sold as a win-win.

The reality is simple: you can’t make energy more expensive and expect everything else to get cheaper.

The chickens have come home to roost.
