Get the Truth

America Is Building. The Left Is Furious.

In Canadian publication The Globe and Mail, two leftist columnists have helpfully stripped away the pretense surrounding the anti-data-center movement.

Their villain is Colossus, Elon Musk’s xAI project in Memphis, which they portray as some dystopian monument to excess because it was built quickly to meet a need.

Colossus is what American ambition is supposed to look like: build fast, solve the engineering problem, secure the power and compete to win. Yet the China-linked left hates it.

This is exactly what Power The Future documented in Manufactured Outrage. The same activist class that spent decades trying to shut down pipelines, coal plants and natural gas infrastructure has now moved on to the industries those energy sources make possible.

The pattern is obvious because the ideology is obvious: these people hate growth, and they hate America winning.

They of course is no sinister conspiracy between technology and energy. They are just furious that American natural gas can power American innovation at a scale their green ideology cannot match.

First they tried to stop the energy, and now they want to stop Colossus.

The target changes, but the agenda never does: make America build less, produce less and compete less.
