President Trump Greenlights the Ambler Road, Opening Alaska’s Mineral Future
President Donald J. Trump has once again delivered for American energy workers and Alaska’s economy. The White House has approved the long-awaited Ambler Road Project, a 211-mile access road connecting Alaska’s vast Ambler Mining District to the state’s infrastructure, unlocking one of the richest untapped mineral belts on Earth.
For years, radical environmental groups and the Biden administration blocked this project with lawsuits and red tape. Now, under President Trump’s leadership, America is back to building again.
The Ambler region holds enormous deposits of copper, cobalt, gold, zinc, and other critical minerals vital for defense, manufacturing, and technology. By moving forward with Ambler Road, the Trump administration is securing supply chains, creating 2,700 high-paying jobs, and generating over $1 billion in state revenues, all while strengthening U.S. national security.
The administration’s $35.6 million investment in Trilogy Metals, which gives the U.S. a 10% ownership stake, ensures these American resources stay in American hands.
As Energy Secretary Chris Wright often says, “Energy is the infrastructure of life.” The Ambler Road makes that infrastructure possible, by giving Alaska the access it needs to power the next generation of American prosperity.
Power The Future applauds this decision. It’s proof that when government stops pandering to activists and starts empowering workers, America wins.
The road to energy dominance runs through Alaska, and President Trump just opened the way.
