“Extinction Rebellion” Spreads To America As Environmental Protestors Are Arrested In NYC

April 19, 2019

On Wednesday, we told you how extreme environmental activists who call themselves the “Extinction Rebellion” were causing mass disruption in London. They shut down bus routes and traffic. They took over bridges and squares, set up roadblocks and even glued themselves to trains. As a result, at least half a million London residents had their commutes ruined, not to mention the local businesses losing $15 million per day, reporting a 25% drop in sales. The “Extinction Rebellion” did this all in the name of going “carbon zero” by 2025 – a goal that is scientifically impossible given current technology. Now, though, the protests…

Hundreds Arrested In London As Eco-Protestors Glue Themselves To Trains

April 17, 2019

Eco-protestors have taken over London, and the costs are already racking up. Extreme environmental activists, who call themselves the “Extinction Rebellion,” have caused mass disruption in the city, with protestors taking over bridges and squares, shutting down traffic and bus routes. The extremists say they want to “pause” cities so that countries become carbon zero by 2025. Notably, eliminating all fossil fuels in six years is not technically or economically feasible. But in typical eco-group form, facts aren’t part of their equation. “This action is called ‘The Pause,’” says the group. “Our aim is to create moments in time when…

President Trump Planning Executive Order To Build Needed Pipeline In NY

April 9, 2019

People might not think much about pipelines, but they are integral to modern life. They allow the safe transportation of energy across large distances. They fuel gas stoves and allow us to heat our homes. They are the infrastructure behind America’s growing energy dominance. But too often, extreme environmental groups successfully apply pressure on the state level to block needed pipeline infrastructure. New York State, for instance, is one glaring example. Governor Andrew Cuomo and regulators have denied permits for one crucial pipeline – in doing so, they limit energy access for not only New York, but surrounding states. In…

Update On The Pebble Project – 2,900 Jobs At Stake

April 8, 2019

With one of the largest untapped copper and gold deposits in the world sitting below its surface, Alaska’s Pebble deposit has been studied, sampled and evaluated by scientists, investors, tribal entities and governments at local, state and federal levels since 1988. Almost as quickly as those deposits were discovered, environmental groups started fighting the project, using an argument that there was a risk to the Bristol Bay salmon fishery if the mine was built. Pebble’s ownership has seen a number of comings and goings since 1988.  Its current owner, Northern Dynasty Minerals, has been involved with the project since 2001, and…
