Despite the fact Mayor Tim Keller has vetoed the bill to raise the gas tax by 2 cents per gallon, the city is still putting forth a survey asking residents for their opinion. The Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) is looking for proposals for an additional 700mw of electricity because they are now worried their renewable plans won’t be enough to avoid blackouts.
